It combines three potent vasoactive agents—alprostadil, papaverine, and phentolamine—at elevated concentrations to maximize efficacy and duration of penile erection.

  • Prostaglandin E1 (Alprostadil) – 40 mcg/mL: A prostaglandin E1 analog that increases cAMP levels, leading to smooth muscle relaxation and enhanced blood flow to the corpus cavernosum.
  • Papaverine Hydrochloride – 60 mg/mL: A non-specific phosphodiesterase inhibitor that promotes vasodilation by increasing intracellular cAMP and cGMP levels.
  • Phentolamine Mesylate – 2 mg/mL: An alpha-adrenergic antagonist that blocks sympathetic vasoconstriction, supporting sustained blood flow to erectile tissue.

Mechanism of Action

Super Trimix facilitates erection by acting directly at the corpus cavernosum level:
